photo{s} a day, twenty six: simple fun
I love when my boys are entertained by the simplest of things.
There truly is beauty in simplicity. The big boys stayed with Dusty today while I went to work. When I came home, they were playing with these new parachute guys I had ordered off Amazon for five bucks. Eli had been requesting an "army parachute guy" and I couldn't find one at Target the other day while I was looking. I figure everything is on Amazon, and since we pay for the Amazon Prime, we pretty much order everything off there anyway. I came across one that said, "tangle free" and if your kids have ever had an "army parachute guy", you know this description was enticing. So, I ordered.
My review? Amazing. It lived up to it's name and is very durable. I definitely suggest purchasing one or two of these little guys if you have boys, and especially if you have stairs. See here.
And Jeremiah? Just give him a mouse and he is happy as pie. Ya know - a computer mouse. He already loves anything and everything electronic, so he fits into our family well. We breed them that way! They must love any and all Apple products and as Silas would say, be an "electronic geek" to live at our house ;)

Ok I am sold on the parachute guys...I just bought two for my son. he loves those cheap little ones but gets so mad when they tangle right away. Very excited for some cheap easy summer fun. So I love your blog...I really enjoy it. i started to follow you after my friend Aly Allen sent me the new baby pics you took of her about a year ago. I had my third baby a few days after you had yours and its been very fun to share in those emotions and experiences of adding number three to the family. I have been meaning to ask you if you can share any of your disneyland tips...this is our first year with passes and we have far from mastered it like you have. Thanks for all your posts!
ReplyDeleteOh, yay!! So glad you got some and know you will be thrilled with them. I have attempted to untangle the other ones before with little success, which of course leads to tears! And that's so cool! I never really know who reads my blog! Aly is married to my husband's cousin.. it's a huuuge family and gets confusing, so I just say we're cousins ;) YES! I'd love to share some tips with you. I'll get back on and respond later bc my little guys just woke up! Thanks for the post ;)
