Alright guys, this is going to be harder than I thought. The issue is not in taking photos everyday, but choosing which photo!
Here's the deal, if I have my camera with me, I have a constant to urge click, click, click. Especially when my subjects are my kids. How can I isolate one thing from their entire day?!
{Sigh}
Here goes nothing: Day two.
{Please note, all my "photos of the day" will be in b&w and time stamped. I may or may not choose to still upload some that didn't make the cut!! Also keep in mind, my goal is to use candids as much as possible. The first photos are just extras and are obviously mostly posed!}

This very much sums up their relationship. Silas adores the baby and the baby thinks Si is the greatest thing ever.

Okay, you got me! I already cheated. I could not decide which I liked better of Eli. Why? Because this is SO him. Oblivious, content, never a dull expression, and you never know quite what he's thinking! Eli Jackson is a mystery to us. I adore this kid.

fyi - he's working on a slurpee we got at the gas station after school.
|
There's something about a sleeping kid - they always look like your baby when asleep. So peaceful, so content, and not a care in the world.

Okay, yes I know this is pitiful. But, I also think it's priceless. He had just woken up and normally wakes up pretty happy. I set him on the floor to play and I immediately knew he was either a.) wanting me to hold him or b.) still tired and therefore clingy. Faster than I could blink, his eyes filled with huge alligator tears and well - look at that thumb. Also, meet Tags the dog. This was his gift from Santa and I pretty much take him wherever we go now. He's always in his seat with him because he loves playing with the tags.
