photo{s} a day, two: a lazy Saturday.
Alright, I said I was doing it, so I'm committed. At least my photos a day keep my blogs regular... {What did I get myself in to?!}
Today has been such a low key day. It started off by me needing to run to Target to get some dog food. Typically, I would work out, clean the house {Saturday is my cleaning day}, get ready, feed everyone lunch, and then run to the store. Instead, I kind of did everything in reverse today. I went to Target first. This is huge for me, guys! Remember my post a few days ago about not taking myself so seriously? See, here. Anyway, I never leave the house not fully ready. By fully ready, I mean hair curled, make-up on, in real clothes, kids showered and not looking like little hooligans, etc, etc. Guess what I discovered? If you're going to run errands on a Saturday, 8:00 a.m. is the time to do it. Where normally I'd be stressed out by the crowds, I was about the only one in the store. And no one cared that I wasn't dressed to a T. {Who the heck really cares?} And Jeremiah. Oh, what a mess. He was in mis-matched jammies, crazy hair, snot covering his face, a goopy ear, no shoes or socks, and really, he just looked like Pig Pen. He didn't seem to mind.
Growth, you guys. It's in the little things.
I came home, put everything away, cleaned up a bit {the house didn't need much because I did all the cleaning on Thursday when we got home from our trip}, worked out, piddled around for awhile and finally got a shower around 1:00 p.m. Whew. It kind of felt nice.
So, for my photos today... The big boys {of course} were playing a game when I got home. I snapped a quick photo and that was that. If anything, it's typical, that's for sure.
We got a new doggie door for Lola, which has been a life saver {it's a panel that attaches to our sliding glass door}. Basically, it has house trained her. She is free to come and go as she pleases and knows to go potty outside. What a relief, you guys! We have been accident free for three days {knock on wood} and I am happier than you can even understand.
Jeremiah is so cute, because he is always looking for her. I couldn't pick just one, so I did a little collage showing their interactions with the doggie door. Priceless.
