photo{s} a day, eight: haircuts.
man, oh man. I'm blogging during the middle of the Saints game to relieve my stress. I'm antsy. I'm stressed and my fingers need something to do!
Enough on that because if you are watching the game, you'll know what I mean. If you're not, then you don't care!
Typical Saturday around here. Worked out, cleaned the house, working on laundry, ran some errands, and {every third week} I give haircuts. {This has got to be my least favorite week of the month!} The boys hate them and it can be a long, painful experience for all involved. Ha! But, I gotta remember how much money I have saved in 10 years of cutting hair. Dusty hasn't paid for a haircut since we got married and the boys have no idea what a barber shop is! When they're complaining {the boys, not Dusty}, I threaten them with the idea of someone else cutting their hair and they pipe right now.
I don't know why it has to be so dramatic, but it is... every. time.
That's why today's photos make me laugh. I told them I wanted a before and after and, well, they're hysterical {the boys, not the haircuts!}

| Before & after. This could be one of those old, antique photos {yes, I realize that was redundant} where the people don't smile. Well, Eli at least gave me a bit of a grin - but we can all see how Silas feels about it. Oh, and fyi, much of the reason for the hair cuts being soooo long is I use scissors only... no clippers. Maybe I should experiment with that? I guess I'm just nervous because I'd have no idea what I was doing! |
