a visit and two photo shoots.

My dear friend Hannah {or Hannah Bazana, as my boys nicknamed her} came for a short visit this past weekend.  How exciting for me!  Hannah is one of those friends that will always be near to my heart, not matter how much time passes between visits or how often we get to talk.  It always seems like we’ve never been apart and we undoubtedly have an amazing time together.  Though I saw Hannah a year and a half ago for her wedding {which was a less than 24 hour turn around and a drive all the way from California to Texas and then Georgia}, she had yet to meet my adorably sweet and beautiful kids.  Of course, I’ve been dying for her to meet and get to know them and was so glad this finally happened.

Her trip was short, but amazing nonetheless.  I’m trying to convince her to move here {ha - little to no chance of that, but a girl’s gotta try, right?}  The most fabulous thing about seeing her at this time is she is pregnant {I’ve anticipated this for her for a long time and couldn't be more thrilled!}  We are both pregnant with boys and thankfully I had the privilege of snapping a few photos of her, her hubby and baby Frankie {which by the way, is totally not his name.. But apparently Hannah and Sam want to keep this a secret and I couldn’t weasel it out of her after begging and pleading for 72 hours.  I even stooped to having Silas and Eli ask her very sweetly.}  So, Frankie it is, until I know better.   Here's a few photos of the lovely parents to be {they're ridiculously cute, I know}.

I also had a senior session with a stunning and amazingly sweet girl, Morgan.  No pressure - but her mom, who happens to work occasionally in San Diego, was on a business trip and flew her daughter out with her so I could take her photos.  Woah.  I hoped it was worth it :)  What an honor - seriously.

p.s. I do know other locations {in case you're wondering}.  Seriously, I have so many people request this spot, with Hannah and Sam it was convenient because we live not 5 minutes away and yeah - don’t judge - I can mix it up a bit, I promise!

On top of all of that my mind is spinning with ideas for my nursery and Silas has begun planning his birthday party {a shark party}.  Don’t even get me started.  I have a vision in my head and it will come to fruition.  Another post for another day.  Photos to come, soon.  Expect it!
