milestones.
It's been a big week, you guys. Well, ya know how Jeremiah has ever so nicely just let me enjoy him as my baby? I mean, he didn't cut a tooth until 11 months, wasn't crawling or mobile at all really and was simply my little cuddle bug. This week - actually, on his birthday - he decided to crawl. And cut two more teeth. And become a little explorer. I cannot take my eyes off him for two seconds.
He's an adventurer, on a quest to discover every little thing that he's not supposed to get into. Give him some toys - he wants cords, plugs, my purse, our phones, iPads, etc. Now that he can move, he doesn't want to sit still. Changing diapers or clothing is next to impossible. Sitting in momma's lap - yeah right.
My baby is growing up on me.
I love seeing the curiosity in his eyes, the pride in his face at every new accomplishment, the excitement of finding something new. It's a stage of exploration, of discovery, of newness. It is grand.
Of course, discovery does not come without a few bumps and bruises along the way. Let's just say, he is looking rough and tough these days!
