first t-ball game & wacky wednesday
Last night, Silas had his first t-ball game. He was so funny because he kept asking me beforehand, "Mommy - who are we versus?" When I told him, "The Braves", he declared, "Well, snakes are much tougher and will always beat a brave." {He's on the Diamondbacks, by the way!} I really had no idea what to expect except pure cuteness. Boy were we in for a treat. Not only were these boys just absolutely adorable in their little uniforms, nothing beats how amusing they were to watch. I love how there's no pressure at this age - everyone kind of has their head in the clouds, staring in to space half the time, but still having the time of their lives.
Silas smiled ear to ear, waved and gave us the thumbs up every time he did something good. He was overjoyed and I was one proud momma.
Here's a few photos from the game versus the Braves.
And then today, Eli had Wacky Wednesday at school. He was not excited about dressing up but after throwing a fit, I wasn't about to give in and let him have his way. We made it to school in one piece and turns out, he was excited when he saw everyone else dressed wacky. The thing about Eli is - he hates being called funny or laughed at. He definitely perceived dressing this way as him getting laughed at or made fun of. He insisted, "I cannot wear pajamas to school! MOM, I cannot wear two different shoes, or a cape or have crazy hair!!" Sigh. When he got to school and saw kids crying because they were not wacky, he changed his tune! Here's a few photos of my wacky boy :)
