"gua-wella with spwinkles"

So, the boys wanted to make cookies.  We decided on sugar cookies with icing because that's their favorite.  I was going to just make simple round cookies and realized they'd probably have more fun cutting them out.  The only problem was we only had Christmas cookie cutters.  Hmm.  We opted to use the bells, the stars, the gingerbread man and what we called the boot (the stockings).  The boys had a blast, of course, rolling out, cutting and decorating their own cookie.  There was definitely some spwinkle overload, but hey - that's half the fun for them, putting on a massive amount of spwinkles.  I say spwinkles, because both boys refer to sprinkles in that manner and what's the point in correcting something so cute?  Even cuter is Eli's version of vanilla, "gua-wella".  I love my sweet boys, and the simple, yet fun times we share together.
