homemade baby art

If baby sees me, baby wants me.  If baby doesn't see me, baby wants me.  We have another Silas on our hands, you guys.  I couldn't walk within a foot of that kid.  He wouldn't go to anyone.  Why would he want to interact with anyone else when he already had the perfect companion - Momma!

I've been thinking he needs some stuff to look at and/or interact with.  I blinked and he is three months and I have no toys, no playmats, nothing!!  He's definitely not sleeping all day anymore, so I think he's probably getting bored.  Ha, I've gotta figure it out because today's excuse for "entertainment" has been pathetic.  I was looking around my desk for something for the little guy to look at.  I found a fish that Eli had drawn and I tied it to a string.  After holding the string for about 5 minutes, I quickly realized I couldn't do that all day :)

So, I taped a few things to the wall and turned his cradle so he could look at it.

He's looking.  LOL - I think he is frightened.

"WHAT is that, Mom??!"

Before I knew it, I felt little eyes on me.

"Nice try, Mom!  Good one."

"I still think you're pretty great.  But your wall is stupid."

I know buddy, it makes me laugh too.
