pancakes molds.
oh. wow. I just went across the street to the gas station to get my 44 oz Thirst Buster {caffeine free, of course}. Anyway, I grabbed a string cheese while I was at it {I randomly spotted it and somehow my mind told my body that I needed it...basically, an impulse purchase}. My, oh my. Heavenly.
But, that's off topic. The topic of the day is pancakes. Not just any pancakes, but Star Wars and Cars 2 pancakes. No, I did NOT make them for myself. That sounds repulsive right about now {as I've said, my sweet tooth has hidden somewhere very far away in a dark corner}.
Ms. Jennifer, the boy's beloved Bunnies teachers {she has had one of my kids for the past 4 years}, got them a Christmas present yesterday. {Don't tell the other kids!} She spotted said pancake molds and thought of them. Is that not the sweetest thing ever?! My kids love pancakes and she knows them well enough to know that they also love Star Wars and Cars. They were elated.
Of course, that meant I had to go home and make pancakes for dinner - to my boys utmost excitement. It was a bit harder than I thought it would be and took a little trial and error to get it right. But the boys were the happiest little things ever. So...
Speaking of baby #3, I took a photo yesterday for my mom of our little Sniffle. I didn't take "belly shots" with my other two and I'm a little weirded out by showing my stomach. But, whatever. This is 11 weeks {only}. I feel ginormous this time around. Silas concurred, looking at my stomach last night and proclaiming,
Awesome. I'm just going to take it as, "Mom, you're normally *so* skinny that now you look a little bigger! But, you're really not that big, just big in comparison to your normal flat stomach." Yes, much better. If he weren't 5, I know that's exactly what he'd say ;)

Thank you, Ms. Jennifer for making their day a little brighter and for thinking of my boys. They truly love you and will always hold a special place in their hearts for you. And, I will too because you've loved my kids exponentially and have been so amazing to us. What ever will I do without a child in your class for the next two years?? Don't worry, baby #3 is cooking away and ready to meet you, Ms. Jennifer!

"Mom! You're belly is so big already. It's like 4 feet wide."
