we're goin' on a bear hunt..

Today was our annual "teddy bear picnic" for our preschoolers.  Oh, how I love this age.  I love how everything is real and bigger than life.

Students can bring a "teddy bear" {or other favorite stuffed animal}{in our case, dog, from go dog go!} to spend the day with them at school including playing on the playground, learning phonics & math, eating lunch, etc.

On top of their normal routine, they also go to rotate around enjoying three special activities and they were oh. so. adorable.  The first station was "going on a bear hunt" and it was about the cutest thing I've ever seen.  The kids squealed when they saw the "bear" and ran off as fast as they could!  Then, they had a bear tasting station, where they could try different flavors of teddy grahams, dipped in different toppings {caramel, chocolate, etc.} and finally, they played musical chairs with all their bear themed music.  Last but not least, they enjoyed an amazing bear lunch, with a bear sandwich, berries {get it?} and a bear cookie.  Our school goes over and beyond with everything they do.  I love it.

I popped in and out to watch JJ and his class and even went on the bear hunt with him.  Way to sweet for words.
