Last night we got another preview of baby J. It's crazy the difference 6 weeks makes! Little man has put on quite a bit of fat and as the sonographer said, he has pinch-able cheeks! We did not get a great full on shot of his face or profile, because he was way down low and had his head completely buried. For most of the sonogram, he had his head turned the opposite direction or had his arms/legs over his face. He was so sweet because he was awake the entire time, opening and closing his eyes & mouth, swallowing and sticking out his tongue. Silas thought this was a riot saying, "he's sooo funny!"
A few things we learned: he has a dimple on his chin! So, so sweet and definitely a Huckabee trait. It appears he does have a head full of hair {he had better after all this heartburn!} Also, I am 27 weeks but he measured 29 weeks across the board - head, stomach, femur. He's already estimated to be 3 pounds. This is good news considering he'll be born at 36 weeks at the latest. Baby J is a little chunky monkey. Can't wait to meet this kid.
