Conversations.
Perhaps this is wrong on so many levels. BUT, I saw this scene and literally ran for my camera. How much would Silas love it if I framed this and hung it on the bathroom wall? I only wish!

This photo totally depicts Silas. Let me explain.
I gotta admit, Silas has always loved running around in his birthday suit. Okay, well - his birthday suit plus some undies. I'll turn around and he has suddenly stripped down. We have been working on this, but for some reason he still believes going potty is the perfect excuse to strip down -- shoes, shirt, pants -- you name it. Like any man, Silas has deep thoughts on the potty. He sits. He thinks. He questions. Often, he'll yell out something random to me -- whatever it is that's spinning around in his little mind, he lets me know. Apparently he thinks about how much he loves me while doing his business, because I frequently hear from the bathroom, "Mommy?? I just love you so much."
Agreed, Silas. You're irresistibly lovable because you are so you. The things you say, the things you do -- you're just impossible not to love.
So all that being said, I had to snap this photo. To me, it's more than a photo - it's Silas. But for everyone else, I guess it can be a conversation piece.

| Eli sleeping on the couch. My favorite part is the sand on his feet from playing at school. Such a boy. |
Conversations with Eli are of an entirely different nature. Actually, it's mostly laughing on our part. There is no possible way to ever predict what is gonna come out of that cute little mouth. No way. Just have a conversation with him and try not to bust out laughing. Between the faces he makes, what he says and the way in which he says them, he'll have you laughing so hard you're crying.
We've had a lot of "conversations" lately about these sweet little gems, known as Bakugans. I say "conversations", because if one of them is misplaced or there is some trouble being had putting one back together, there is whining, some fits and possibly crying. These suckers are definitely a hot item around here. The boys love them. So, the second they are done playing with them I make sure they're put in a place where I can find them. Because I certainly don't want to have to hunt for them or not be able to find one. Oh, p.s -- I guess I should mention this Bakugan is large. Most of them are small and by the time they're put together in a ball, it's about the size of a ping pong ball. If you drop it on the floor, it magically pops open into a dragon. Wonderfully time consuming, brings lots of sound effects and laughter - but is easily misplaced. For that, I'll give it 4.5 stars out of 5.
At that, I must go. Eli is having a Dino conversation with me now. This means he growls and scares me and I have to be the Momma dinosaur. Raaaawwwrrrr!!
