Silas' first girlfriend
I didn't know when it would start, but my sweet little *baby* boy likes a girl. Ha ha, at least it's funny to joke about. So, Silas' teacher sent me some pictures on facebook today. She had casually mentioned to me when we were leaving today that she took some snapshots of him and would send them my way. She failed to mention that he was with the same little girl in every single picture! So, to my surprise in one picture he is hugging her, in another he is standing behind her in line (a little too close) and then in one trying to kiss her! Mr. Big Stuff! So, the funny part was when I called him into the room to see the pictures. I pick up Silas and the instant he saw the picture of him and Kennedy (almost kissing) he put both of his hands to his face and said, "uhh ohhhh". Then I begin laughing and he buries his little face on my shoulder. Dusty and I are cracking up at this point. He was SO embarrassed!
So then a few minutes later, Dusty and Silas had a little talk in the living room. Silas was telling daddy all about Kennedy, saying "Kennedy at school". Dusty asked him if he liked Kennedy and he said, "yeeaah" in his goofy little voice. When I was putting him to bed, I said, "I'll see you in the morning, Si. We're gonna go to school! Are you gonna see Kennedy?" He got a HUGE grin on his face and said, "Yeah". And I said, "sweet dreams little man!"
Anyhow, it was super cute and we got a good laugh at the whole situation. So that's the story of Si's first girlfriend....
