weekend wrap-up.

oh, how I love this time of the year.  I especially love it when the weather cooperates and we actually have "fallish" weather.  hurray!

So, Silas had his turn at the pumpkin patch a week ago.  Now, it was Eli's turn!  This kid loves everything about the fall too!  He is in love with pumpkins {and has been asking for one for awhile}, the pumpkin patch {always begs to go}, Halloween {obsessed with picking out/deciding on the perfect costume}, etc.  I was ever so thrilled to take him because he was simply overjoyed.  When Eli Jackson gets excited about something, he gets excited.

I love how some things are bigger than life.  It's such a special age and I love getting to experience it with these three little guys of mine.

This weekend we went to Disneyland.  Silas has been waiting a year to get to ride Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy again!  They redo it for Halloween and Silas thinks it is literally the best thing ever.

The perfect pumpkin.  It only took 5 intense minutes to pick it out.
Ready to ride!
Love Silas' smile.

really enjoying Disney ;)

After he enjoyed a chocolate donut on the train.
Watching the Pixar parade.

My three crazies.  One of the only pictures of me with all three of my munchkins!

California Adventure at night.
Funniest story ever.  So, we stood in line for this ride.  It is NO big thing.  Just some rockets that go in a circle.  I had the baby strapped in my baby carrier.  As we sat down, suddenly a girl came up and said, "No lap sitting."  I started to get off, but then Silas could not ride by himself apparently.  She said, "He may not sit in your lap but you are welcome to sit him in his own seat and buckle him."  I responded, "Ummm, he's four months old."  "Well, like I said.  No lap sitting.  You are more than welcome to try his own seat."  SERIOUSLY??  So he, who cannot even sit up on his own, is safer in his own seat than a baby carrier?  Funny.  Dusty and I laughed hysterically about this afterwards.  A nice lady behind me {who was riding alone} noticed the ridiculousness of the situation and offered to sit with Silas so he could still ride.
And here's a few photos from the past week...
