happy 4 months, jeremiah.
how many times can one person say, "where does the time go?"
as many times as they want. well, at least then I can justify saying it. so, "where does the time go???"
today, Jeremiah is 4 months. 4 months. Wasn't I just pregnant? Didn't I just have hime?
okay, okay. I can get all emotional about the fact that he's growing like a weed, or I can focus on the positives - like his amazing, lovable and irresistible personality that captures my heart more and more each day. It has been one fun month including:
rolling over {okay, once - but that still counts}
laughing
talking, talking and more talking
leaving behind his colic-y stage
ear to ear grins that seemingly get bigger by the day
discovering mickey mouse clubhouse
the deep conversations we have all day long
he is just a sweet, sweet baby. all my babies have been sweet {of course}, but getting to experience this again is just a blessing. my favorite thing about Jeremiah is how he brings our family together. I don't even know how to explain it except that we're all better for having him in our lives and we get to enjoy him together.
so, being my neurotic self, I am upset that I have yet to take his 4 month photo today. I intended to take it on the tenth of each month. I mean, really - doing it on the ninth or the eleventh just isn't the same. however, little man had his four month appointment yesterday and got his vaccinations. he had a bit of a reaction and is covered in a rash, not to mention is miserable. so, I figure that wouldn't photograph well {even if I could photoshop it}. so, I will stretch myself and wait. wow, that kind of feels good to not stress over something so silly.
I thought it would be fun to ask the boys a few questions about their brother, so here goes..
Eli, what is your favorite thing about Jeremiah?
That he's so quiet when we feed him.
How much do you love him?
This much {spreading arms as far as he can stretch them}
How much is that?
It's more than ANYTHING in the whole world.
Is there anything else you want to say about Jeremiah?
Yeah. Uhh, I will help him be grown up. And, please let God bless him.
Alright, little man - I think it's safe to say you are loved. I cannot believe you've already been here 4 months, yet I also can't imagine a life without you in it. Where were you all my life? I am so blessed to be your mommy and love getting to know you more and more everyday. You're our most favorite bug in the whole wide world.

I like it when he drools and I like it when he laughs and when he stares at things. He's really funny.

Almost like three thousand. I think he's the cutest baby in the whole wide world. He is my favorite baby.
