our happy place.

We did it again.

You already know, don't you?

We went to Disneyland, of course.  We played hooky from school and work, enjoying a nice, long weekend for ourselves.  We headed up on Thursday evening, spent the night and basically spent all day on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.   We were dragging to the car on the way out... literally.  Oh, and it was HOT.  We had an unusual two day heat blast in the upper 90's, and now it's 60 degrees and raining.  But - you better believe we had a blast anyway, not letting the heat get to us.

Dusty and I decided on the way home {which we kind of already knew} {not to brag or anything} but, we know how to do Disneyland.  Basically, we know where to go, when to go, what to Fast Pass, to always get a rider switch pass so the boys get to ride the big rides twice {once with mom and once with dad}, when to take a break, to always bring snacks, where to eat, when to split up, etc.  We have perfected a system to make the most out of our Disneyland experience.  If it wouldn't destroy the way we do it, we could write a book ;)

The boys, of course, have a blast no matter what.  Silas is crazy into Soarin' Over California and all the big rides.  Eli isn't as into the bigger stuff just yet and loves some of the rides Silas does not particularly, such as Astroblasters, the Mickey Ferris Wheel and the goofy "roller coaster" in California Adventure.  This makes splitting up easy and the boys go back and forth with which parent they want to ride with them -- so, we have fun together as a family and get some fun one-on-one {or two on one} {depending on whoever has the baby!} {funny how once you have three, two seems like a lot less!}

Jeremiah had THE BEST time.  It was so exciting to see his eyes light up and his ear to ear grin.  We did Fantasyland, which we haven't done in awhile, and boy was he ever eating that up! {the big boys are much too "BIG" for that now} {sad face} {I remember when we had to wait HOURS in line for "umbo"} {now Si is too cool for school when it comes to Dumbo} {another sad face} {Remembering to cherish each season..}

Notice how happy Jeremiah looks in the photos below though.

We had another sweet time together at our favorite place, the happiest place on earth.  It's definitely our happy place.
