happy trick or treating
Okay, so the very first time our boys went trick or treating {two years ago} they were timid at first. Before long, sweet {4 year old} Silas and {2 year old} Eli were happy as pie, chanting "happy trick-er treating!!!" at every door. With their sweet little voices and pronunciations, it was THE cutest thing ever and they had almost every person who answered the door laughing at their sweetness.
Last night we had a blast. First, we trick or treated and then they got to take turns passing out candy. The boys were {of course} hysterical for different reasons. Silas saw a "scary" costume and asked the kid, "what ARE you??" When we walked off Silas told us, "that costume terrified me." Everything "terrified" him. They were precious but of course when they said, "trick or treat?!" I reminisced of that first year.
Regardless of the fact that they're older, they are still in their "fantasy" stage and I love it. Their innocence, their joy, their cuteness - it's almost too much to handle sometimes {okay, most of the time} {but I'm a big softy!}
Indie, Captain and Hulk had a great Halloween and this morning were already excited about Thanksgiving. Let the holidays commence!!
Here are my sweet boys in their costumes. Photos from my "real" camera to come later ;)
