1. Christmas music 2. Indians 3. Karate 4. Reagan & Quincy
1. It just happened. It was a complete accident. Friday night, I was driving to La Jolla to go to the football game. Silas was playing a game on my iPhone (which has all my music), the radio wasn't the least bit appealing to me and I really wanted to listen to something. I grabbed a random cd from the cd holder on my visor and pushed it in. I had no idea this cd even existed. Where it came from, I haven't a clue. What was it you ask? Christmas music. The Casting Crowns Christmas album. Had it been any other Christmas album, I would have immediately dismissed it. I mean, after all - it's September. But, I was immediately compelled to listen. Seriously one of the best Christmas albums ever. I don't even know how to explain it except that it's amazing. There's only a few traditional Christmas songs, but even those were so well done and not the chirpy, same old tune you're used to. Rather, it was acoustic and just beautiful. So, for the past five days, this cd has been on repeat in my car. I cannot get enough of it. I never thought I'd be that person listening to Christmas music so early. Even when my iPhone shuffles to my Glee Christmas album, I skip past it. And you know how much I love Glee! This has to be an exception. So - Merry Christmas, everyone! It's Christmas in my car!
2. "i" is for Indian. I was taking some photos today for the up and coming Love N' Learn website and came across a slew of little Indian Bunnies. Yep, they're learning all about "i" this week and made Indian hats. I love Love N' Learn. I love the fun things they do. And, I love my little Indian Bunny, Eli. Enough said.

3. "k" is for Karate. Karate started today! Finally. Silas has been talking about karate since last spring when I told him I would sign him up as soon as he started "bulldog school". I nicely asked the coach if he would take a three year old, knowing that Eli would be so sad not to take it as well. Luckily, he agreed and my two boys started learning their Kung Fu today! That's what they prefer to call it, anyway. They had a blast and cannot wait to get their uniforms and go back next week!
4. The most important new is ... are you ready for this?! Reagan and Quincy made their big debut at home today! Yay!! No more hospital, no more wires, no more tubes, no more nurses. It's mommy and daddy time. The boys were aching to see their new baby cousins, so of course we went by after karate was over. Silas has literally prayed for those babies every single night since his Mimi went to the hospital. It's always something to the effect of, "Dear God. Please protect Mimi's babies. Keep them safe and healthy...." but lately it's been, "Dear God. Can the babies please just come home, because I really want to hold them!!" Precious. The boys adored little Reagan and Quincy and Eli asked, "Momma, can I pwease take 'em home. Pwetty pwease?! Can we have them?" I understand the sentiment, because I would have taken them home if I could have made it out the door with them -- I mean, at least one. It's not like there's not enough to go around :) The boys already want to go back tomorrow so they can hold R&Q again!!
I've got a big photo shoot in the works for Saturday. I. cannot. wait. I did have my camera tonight (did you doubt I wouldn't??) so I got a few photos. Our light was limited, so this had to do for the time being! Here they are... home at last!!
