A Fun-filled Week
Papaw and Mamaw came to visit us for Silas' 4th Birthday and I'm not sure who's having more fun - the boys, or my parents. We celebrated Silas' birthday at Peter Piper Pizza and he finally got his Batman party that he has been talking about since he was Batman for Halloween. He got lots of cool toys for his birthday and was super excited to get a "real" bike. Of course Eli was not be be left out and had to get a bike himself (or rather, Papaw and Mamaw didn't have the heart to say no since they don't get to spoil them all the time). But don't worry, when they do see the boys, they certainly spoil them! I'll spend the next week unspoiling the little rascals - but it's well worth it!
Silas told me he is "taking a break" from school for the week, as he is spending time with Papaw and Mamaw. The boys have had so much fun blowing bubbles, going to the park, riding their bikes, taking Papaw and Mamaw to see the lake we run at all the time, feeding the ducks, and having 24 hour attention! And of course, I have enjoyed documenting all the fun with my camera. Below are some snapshots from the week.

It's always such a joy to see my parents and my two sweet boys together. I love watching them interact and see their relationship grow. It's amazing to me how they can have such a special relationship, even with the reality of being separated by such a long distance. These are the moments that warm my heart and I love that we are able to create these special memories.
