jj's birthday festivities.
We celebrated JJ a little early, having his birthday party last night at Chuck E Cheese. He had the best time. He was elated with his birthday gifts - receiving the things his heart most desired, a red power wheel car {like Lightning Mcqueen} and more rescue bots than he could even imagine. He just kept pulling them out of the bag, his face lighting up with each new bot. He's obsessed!
He must have wanted to celebrate the actual minute he turned three, because he woke up and came into my room in the middle of the night. When I looked at my phone it was almost 1:00 a.m. and he was born at 12:49 a.m. Thanks JJ, for celebrating that special moment with me! Ha!
Today, I brought donuts to school to celebrate with his class, he went to a special lunch with grammy and gigi, and we just had more cake for dinner. Oh, and we sang and let him blow the candles out twice for good measure. He has been waiting long enough, that's for sure! Eli proclaimed that we are going to have "happy threes" and no more terribleness. Here's hoping he's right!
