photo{s} a day, thirty one - the end.

Alright, friends.  It has been fun.

Honestly, I have had a blast with my "photos of the day" - for a number of reasons.

1.)  I love taking photos of my kids
2.)  I made a goal, and I stuck to it.
3.)  It was a challenge, simply because where my kids are concerned - photos are challenging {okay, that's an understatement... they hate photos}
4.)  I feel like I am documenting them.  One day, they'll appreciate it, and I already do.

 I thought about extending my photo challenge past thirty one days {exactly one month!}, but it seems my precious children need a break.  Although many of my photos were candids, I was starting to get a few moans when they spotted the camera.  The last thing I want to do is make them dread it even more, right?!  I will say, they don't hate it altogether.  In fact, there are many instances where they love for me to take photos of something they're doing... and other times, well - they just don't want a camera in their face, even if it is on the sly. {And, I totally get that!}

I got a few evil eyes the past month, that's for sure.

So, all that being said, I thought my last photo could be fun.  And boy, am I happy about it!  There were a few things I knew I wanted...

1.)  I wanted just one photo of the three of them together.
2.)  I wanted a great photo to end on.
3.)  I wanted it to express them.

Somehow, I just had the idea.  It was like a lightbulb flashed in my brain and I knew exactly what I wanted.  I told Silas my idea and he thought it was hilarious!!  He got all into it, and even made the sign for me.  He totally got the joke and boy was it easy enough for them to execute!  I think this is my favorite photo from the whole month.

So, without further ado... I leave you my final photo of the day...

Of course, I had to do this one in black and white and color, because it's too great not too.
