three boys.

"Is that a boy or a girl?"

With a smile, "It's a boy."

"Oh, I'm sorry.  Are you going to keep trying for a girl?"

can't help but smile.

I honestly cannot tell you how many comments have been thrown my way as I'm out and about with three little boys such as, "good luck", "were you hoping for a girl?", "are those all yours?" and "lucky you" - {but that was said sarcastically}.

I really don't know where people are coming from or why they feel the need to impose their pity on me, but I have been shocked at the number of comments I have received.  Maybe people just want to say something.  I don't know.  But what they don't know is that I have THE three sweetest, cutest, most lovable boys that ever existed.  I always brush it off, smile and say something like, "Oh, I love having boys", because that's the honest and complete truth.  God made me to be a mom to these three boys, and I really cannot imagine my life without the day to day experience that is having boys.

If you're a frequent reader of my blog, there's no question I think my kids hung the moon.  Transitioning from two to three has come with its challenges {and it's really affected my blogging}, but it has been the greatest thing in the world.  Jeremiah has been such a blessing in all of our lives and it's neat seeing how he brings us together even more.  I love how God has perfectly planned our family, bringing each unique personality to the table, forming one complete puzzle.  Some days may be chaotic and some stressful - but each are filled with an immeasurable amount of love.  My cup runneth over.  Truly.
