IG photos of the day.

Eli loves animals.  And when I say loves, I mean loves.   He is obsessed with anything and everything having to do with them and can probably tell you anything about every species that ever existed.  Don't believe me?  Ask him a question.  Any question.  I assure you, he will know.
Oh, perfect timing... here he is now.  Let me ask him a question.
"Eli, tell me something about kangaroos.""A kangaroo can leap as high as a person jumping on a trampoline.  To kick, they put their tail low to the ground, and kick other roos in the stomach.  Roos also fight by using their hands.  I need to study more about kangaroos though.  I don't know all about their distance.  Are you typing that in? Oh no, I'll go study about more...."
Annnnd, he's gone.
Wait.  He just came back.  I'm not making this up, folks.  This is real time blogging action, as we speak.

"They can jump as far as 43 feet.  They can go 35 miles per hour.  I gotta study more.  Okay?"{p.s. I looked this up to verify, and he is correct}

And, gone again.

Anyhow, above, he is pretending to be a fish.
And here's that sweet little fish conked out on the couch.  This sweet babe still needs his naps.  I love finding him curled up somewhere.  I mean, look at that face.  It gets me every time.  Melt my heart, {gush, gush}.
This was one night where I didn't feel like cooking.  Ha!  Actually, the boys begged to try Lean Pockets.  I even made a special trip to the store to buy them.  In any case, I figured - if I'm not "cooking", what the hey.  I made myself a tuna sandwich and we called it a meal.  I could handle this kind of meal any day of the week.  I love a good sandwich!
And here we are, having that fabulous dinner.  I am not sure where Dusty was this day, because we typically eat together.  Baby J looks like he's deep in thought and Silas was telling Eli quite the story.  I don't remember what it was about, but they were cracking up laughing.
Baby J wants to be big like his brothers.  He is catching up to them, believe me.  Here he is trying to sneak a peek at what they're up to.
And this, is so pathetic.  He fell down and got really upset/embarrassed.  Poor little guy.  Sometimes it's just really hard being one.
That face looks innocent, I know, but it's not.  He's into all kinds of mischief.
This was this morning.  This was my view of the boys from their bathroom, where I was getting ready.  They were sitting together watching something on the iPad.  They would sit like this all day long if I would allow it.
Not a chance!

The boy loves his trucks.
We brought Furby back to life today.  His batteries had died and he had kind of been forgotten for awhile.  But, Silas installed the Furby app on his iPad and spent a good bit of the afternoon feeding him, playing him music, talking to him {the iPad can translate what Furby says, and likewise, so you can have a back and forth convo}, etc.  Now Eli has decided he wants one and baby J - well, he got quite the kick out of him too.  He totally thought he was real.
And then, we spent some time in the backyard.  Baby J loves to ride in the Jeep and his bros happily give him rides.
I love this.  Baby J is so chill.  He's cool.  Don't mind him - he's just going for a ride.
Shelly and Ninja came to join us in the yard too.  So, these two Russian tortoises were the same size when we bought them.  Can you tell which one is in control of the food?  Seriously, we can put Shelly in front of the bowl and give Ninja her food separate.  Shelly will come over to Ninja and steal her food, then go back to the food bowl and climb on top of it.  It's nuts.
